Mr. Peter Dandreano has been a Police Officer for over ten years, Law Enforcement and Private Security for over 18 years, EMS for over 20 years and a Volunteer Fire Fighter for 8 years. As a Police Office Peter has been Coordinator of the Greenburgh C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team) since he researched the program and incepted it in 2003. He is also Coordinator of the Westchester C.E.R.T./C.C. (Citizen Corps) Coalition. As Coordinator of both programs Peter trains and coordinates training in the Basic 20 hr. CERT Course and other advanced Emergency Preparedness Topics. Peter is also the Crime Prevention Officer for the Greenburgh Police Department and moderates Emergency Preparedness and Security Seminars for the Community. Other instructor certifications that Peter holds and practices include American Heart Association and American Red Cross CPR/First Aid, Weapons of Mass Destruction for first Responders, Law Enforcement General Topics, Incident Command, and Driver Safety. Mr. Dandreano has also taught courses at the Westchester County Police Academy, Westchester Community College, Westchester County Fire Training Center, Patterson Recreation Center, the Greenburgh Police Department and other Police Department and Fire Departments within Westchester County, NY.
